🛠️ Step-by-Step Insertion Process

📍 Step 1: Remove the Frame Retention Pin

Locate the captive-style frame assembly pin situated at the upper rear section of the conversion chassis. Push the pin completely out from the side and set it aside in a secure spot on your workbench tray.

🚪 Step 2: Open the Rear Door Mechanism

Firmly grasp the rear housing door of the MX-1 unit and slide it all the way to the back. Fully extending this rear entry gate opens up the necessary interior track space to slide your host firearm cleanly into the receiver block.

🤲 Step 3: Establish Hand Positioning and Alignment

  1. Use your weak hand to firmly grip the forward M-LOK or Picatinny accessory side rails of the chassis. This stabilizes the frame and prevents twisting.

  2. With your strong hand, grasp the grip frame of your unloaded handgun.

  3. Position the firearm so it is completely parallel to the internal tracking rails of the chassis.

⚡ Step 4: Insert and Lock the Firearm Home

Push the firearm straight forward into the open rear gate, keeping it entirely parallel to the frame alignment plane. Continue pushing smoothly forward until you hear and feel a distinct mechanical "click." This indicates that your handgun's accessory rail has fully engaged and locked into the primary chassis frame lock.

🔒 Step 5: Secure the Rear Housing

  1. Slide the rear entry door completely forward back into its closed battery position.

  2. Reinsert the rear retention pin through the alignment channels, pushing it completely home until it sits flush. Your firearm is now entirely secure and ready for safe range deployment.
