APEX Series Trigger Linkage, Safety & LRBHO Functions

How does the trigger and safety function on the APEX Series?

Because the APEX conversion kit repositions your pistol into a compact bullpup rifle shape, the system integrates a custom mechanical fire-control linkage.

⚡ Trigger Pull, Break, and Reset Behavior

Our advanced CCK trigger linkage mechanism is meticulously designed to work with your handgun's internal parts rather than fighting against them:

  • Retained Performance:
The linkage retains the exact trigger pull weight, crisp break weight, and mechanical reset of whatever trigger group is currently installed inside your host handgun.

  • Smooth Travel:
The linkage guides the trigger pull flatly straight back, removing any natural "curve" feel you might be used to with standard pistol shoes.

  • Pull Distance:
Depending on your handgun model (especially flat-faced aftermarket triggers), the forward trigger travel distance may experience a minor variance of a few hundredths of an inch.

🛡️ Physical Safety Mechanism

The APEX chassis features a built-in, physical manual thumb safety
(trigger-block safety) located directly on the chassis frame.
This provides an additional mechanical barrier to ensure safe manipulation, transport, and range operation.

🔄 Last Round Bolt Hold Open (LRBHO)

Yes! Your handgun's factory last round bolt hold open
feature will remain completely active and function flawlessly while inside the APEX chassis, provided your magazine's follower supports standard LRBHO tracking.
